  • Fontmell Magna Under Fives Pre-School has been established in the village for over 30 years.
    We offer bright and spacious surroundings indoor and out.
    We have gained an excellent reputation locally for providing a happy and stimulating environment for your child to play and learn.

    Fontmell Magna Under Fives main aim is to learn through play, with learning opportunities endlessly available.

    We care for children aged 2-4 years. We except funding for 2, 3 and 4yr old's.

We can claim an additional £570 per child per year to spend on enriching your 3 or 4 year old child’s education either by extra resources and equipment, new play, or learning and activity experiences. If you would like to check your eligibility, please feel free to do so using This Link

    We have a dedicated committee who organise fundraising throughout the year. We welcome anyone who wishes to join the committee.

    We are a charity who are registered and inspected by OFSTED, and we are a member of the Preschool Alliance.

  • For insurance reasons parents are requested not to leave their children at the Preschool earlier, or later than 5 min before, or after the beginning of each session. All of our sessions are provided on an hourly basis.

    Our sessions and prices:

    Breakfast club 07.45-08.45 £7.20 for the session
    Morning 08.45-11.45 £7.20ph
    Afternoon 11.45-14.45 £7.20ph
    Afterschool club 14.45-15.45 £7.20 for the session

    Children are funded for the term immediately after they are 2 or 3 years old. You will be required to complete a form to apply for this. If you think you might be eligible for any other funding please check this website: Homepage | Childcare Choices

    A mid-morning drink and snack is provided during the morning session, this is included in the £1 consumable donation per day.

    Any child attending the afternoon session is required to bring their own lunch in a named lunch box, all children are provided with a drinks bottle, this is accessible at all times. Please can their lunches contain at least 2 pieces of fruit or vegetables, no nuts, chocolate or sweets.
