Buddy the dog is our preschool ‘Best Friend’ for children that are finding it a bit more difficult than others to be left at Preschool. Buddy comes with a journal and a carry bag that will be given to the child overnight or longer, then the child along with the family are to record Buddy’s adventures over the time that the dog is away from school. When Buddy comes back to school, we sit and discuss what adventures Buddy has been on.
